Over the years, we have frequently been asked "Why do I have to be fingerprinted again, aren't my prints already on file?" Well, there is no central government database for housing fingerprints for background checks; however, with PrintScan, archiving your own prints is an option.
It is a simple process where we scan your fingerprints and then upload them to a secure server for storage. From that point on, any time you need fingerprint cards, you can order them online, by telephone, or simply walk in and we will print them out for you! For time saving, we recommend that you order them in advance so that when they are ready, you can simply walk-in, show your id, and then take your card with you! Archived fingerprints can also be used for FINRA submissions, FDLE (Florida), as well as other electronic submissions offered by PrintScan.
